Product Description

Medical Info
POSID is a prescription oncology medication containing Etoposide (50 mg) in capsule form. It belongs to a class of chemotherapy drugs known as topoisomerase inhibitors. The medication works by binding to and blocking the topoisomerase II enzyme, which prevents cancer cells from repairing their DNA strands and ultimately forces them to stop dividing and die. POSID is widely used in combination with other chemotherapy agents to treat various malignancies, including refractory testicular tumors and small cell lung cancer. Given its narrow therapeutic index and potential to cause significant bone marrow suppression, treatment must be closely monitored by a qualified specialist.
