Faslodex™ is a prescription oncology medication containing fulvestrant, an estrogen receptor antagonist. It is specifically classified as a selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD). Indicated primarily for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+) advanced or metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women, it works by binding directly to estrogen receptors. This action blocks the effects of estrogen and triggers the down-regulation and destruction of the receptors themselves. By depriving the tumor cells of the hormonal signals required for their survival and proliferation, Faslodex™ effectively slows down or halts breast cancer growth. It is administered monthly via intramuscular injection.

Precautions & Warnings
Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Refrigeration after reconstitution is preferred.
