TEMOLOZ™-100 is a high-potency, prescription oncology medication containing Temozolomide (100 mg) per capsule. Functioning as an oral alkylating chemotherapy agent, it is designed to cross the blood-brain barrier effectively. Once absorbed, it undergoes rapid conversion to its active cytotoxic form, which damages cancer cell DNA and inhibits further tumor replication. This specialized treatment is predominantly indicated for advanced primary brain tumors, specifically glioblastoma multiforme and refractory anaplastic astrocytoma. Because it can cause severe myelosuppression, patients must undergo regular blood counts and remain under the vigilant supervision of an oncologist.
