Mofilet®-500 is a prescription immunosuppressant medication containing 500 mg of Mycophenolate Mofetil IP per tablet. Manufactured by Emcure, this therapeutic agent is primarily indicated for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal, hepatic, or cardiac transplants. It is clinically used in combination with cyclosporine and corticosteroids. As a potent prodrug of mycophenolic acid, it selectively inhibits T and B lymphocyte proliferation to prevent the immune system from attacking the transplanted organ. Supplied in a box of 60 tablets (6×10 strips), this medication requires strict medical supervision to manage dosing and monitor patient compliance.
