Actemra (Tocilizumab) 162 mg is a biological medication provided in a pre-filled syringe for subcutaneous injection. It is an interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor antagonist indicated for treating various inflammatory conditions, most notably adult moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, giant cell arteritis, and certain types of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. By blocking the IL-6 pathway, it works to reduce inflammation and its associated symptoms like joint pain and swelling. Each syringe contains 162 mg of the active substance in a 0.9 ml solution and is designed for single-use. The package shown contains 4 pre-filled syringes.
