Assurans Injection contains Sildenafil (10 mg per 12.5 ml), which belongs to the class of phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5) inhibitors. It is primarily indicated for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adults. The medication works by relaxing the smooth muscles and dilating the blood vessels in the lungs, reducing pulmonary blood pressure and easing the heart’s workload. This helps improve exercise tolerance and slows down clinical worsening. It is utilized as a temporary intravenous alternative for PAH patients who are stabilized on oral sildenafil but are temporarily unable to swallow medication.

Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.
