Cazat®

Cazat®, manufactured by Dr. Reddy’s, is an advanced prescription antineoplastic medication containing 60 mg of Cabazitaxel per 1.5 mL. As a second-generation taxane derivative and potent microtubule inhibitor, it works by binding to and stabilizing the internal cellular microtubule network. This prevents normal cell division and effectively causes cell death in rapidly multiplying cancerous tissues. Cazat® is specifically indicated for the systemic clinical management of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) in adult patients who have previously undergone docetaxel-based chemotherapy regimens. Provided as a single-dose vial kit containing a separate concentrate and diluent, this highly intensive therapy must strictly be prepared and administered via intravenous (I.V.) infusion under the rigorous supervision of a certified oncology care specialist.
