Cresp® 40, manufactured by Dr. Reddy’s, is a highly effective prescription biological medication containing 40 mcg of Darbepoetin Alfa. Classified as an erythropoiesis-stimulating protein (recombinant human erythropoietin analogue), it works by directly stimulating bone marrow progenitor cells to accelerate red blood cell production. This premium intervention is primarily indicated for the clinical treatment of severe anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) or symptomatic anemia induced by concurrent non-myeloid cancer chemotherapy. Supplied in a single-use 0.4 mL pre-filled syringe (PFS), it is formulated strictly for subcutaneous or intravenous administration.
