Erlocip 150 contains Erlotinib (150 mg), a targeted cancer therapy belonging to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) class. It works by specifically binding to and inhibiting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), a protein involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors harbor specific EGFR mutations, as well as for advanced pancreatic cancer when used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs.
