GUTRON®, distributed by BLUEMED, contains 2.5 mg of Midodrine hydrochloride per tablet. It is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist formulated to treat severe symptomatic orthostatic hypotension, a condition characterized by a sharp drop in blood pressure when standing up. Midodrine works by constricting blood vessels, which increases peripheral vascular resistance and elevates standing, sitting, and supine blood pressure. This helps alleviate symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, and fainting. Due to its potential to cause severe high blood pressure while lying down (supine hypertension), GUTRON® must be prescribed and monitored closely by a healthcare professional.

Precautions & Warnings
Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.
