Luprodex 3M® is an advanced, prescription-only hormone therapy containing 11.25 mg of lyophilized Leuprolide Acetate. Formulated as a 3-month depot injection, it features a sustained-release mechanism that provides continuous therapeutic effects over a twelve-week period. As a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, it works by significantly reducing the production of specific sex hormones. It is primarily indicated for managing hormone-dependent conditions such as advanced prostate cancer, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids.
