Sevcar®-400 contains Sevelamer Carbonate (400 mg), a non-calcium, non-metal phosphate binder indicated for controlling hyperphosphatemia in adult patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis. When kidneys are compromised, phosphorus levels in the blood can rise dangerously. Sevcar®-400 works locally in the gastrointestinal tract by binding to dietary phosphorus from food, preventing its absorption into the bloodstream. This helps maintain safer phosphorus levels, reducing the risk of calcification and associated cardiovascular or bone complications. It should be taken with meals exactly as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.
