AmBisome (liposomal amphotericin B 50 mg) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic lyophilized powder for intravenous infusion. This product is intended to be reconstituted with sterile water for injection and then diluted with a dextrose solution prior to administration. It should only be used as a single-dose vial on one occasion. Crucially, this medication is for intravenous infusion only and must not be administered via other routes. Detailed instructions on reconstitution and administration should be found in the enclosed package insert and followed exactly. Discard any unused portions. Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 25°C and do not freeze.

Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.
