Duovir-E Kit is a multi-drug combination packaging used for the management of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) infection. Each kit efficiently bundles two distinct formulations: a dual nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) tablet combining lamivudine and zidovudine, paired with a separate non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) tablet containing 600 mg of efavirenz. Working together, these medications inhibit the viral reverse transcriptase enzyme, effectively stopping HIV from multiplying, lowering the viral load, and helping to restore CD4+ immune cell counts. Each box contains ten individual kits. Regular laboratory monitoring is vital to oversee liver health and track potential side effects.
