Encicarb® is an advanced, prescription iron replacement therapy containing 500 mg of elemental iron as Ferric Carboxymaltose per 10 ml solution. Manufactured by Emcure, this intravenous (IV) formulation is indicated for the rapid and effective treatment of iron deficiency anemia in adult patients who have intolerance or an unsatisfactory response to oral iron, or those with non-dialysis-dependent chronic kidney disease. The macromolecular complex allows for the controlled release of iron directly to the body’s iron-binding proteins, swiftly replenishing depleted stores and stimulating hemoglobin production. Intended strictly for IV injection or infusion, it must not be refrigerated.

Precautions & Warnings
Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Refrigeration after reconstitution is preferred.
