Fasenra Pen™ (benralizumab injection), manufactured by AstraZeneca, is a sterile solution provided as a 30 mg/mL single-dose prefilled autoinjector. It is indicated as an add-on maintenance treatment for adult and pediatric patients aged 6 years and older with severe asthma that presents an eosinophilic phenotype. Fasenra works by selectively binding to interleukin-5 receptors, directly leading to the rapid depletion of excess eosinophils responsible for airway inflammation. Administered exclusively via subcutaneous injection, this maintenance therapy helps reduce the frequency of severe asthma exacerbations and improves lung function. It is not intended for treating acute asthma attacks.

Reconstitute only with the prescribed quantity of clean drinking water. Shake well before each use. Complete the full course as prescribed. Discard any unused suspension after 7 days of reconstitution.
